Chinese Herbs

Chinese herbs form an integral part of a patient’s treatment. They can be as effective, and in some cases, more effective than acupuncture treatment alone. Your practitioner will decide if a course of herbal treatment is appropriate for your individual case.

Herbs can be applied externally, or taken internally in various forms such as pills, powders (granules), solutions, and medicinal wines. Your herbal prescription from Ancient Traditions will more than likely be in powder form, which you will mix into hot water and drink as a tea. For more acute conditions, or for conditions that need stronger treatment, raw herbs will be prescribed for you to boil and drink as a tea.

Granules are supplied by Legendary Herbs, a leader in safety and quality of Chinese herbal products in the United States. They use granule extracts produced by Tianjiang Pharmaceutical. “Tianjiang Pharmaceutical has exacting standards and processes to assure the safety, consistency and efficacy of each and every batch of granule extracts it produces.
